About the Event
We believe that retreats like this allow students to form deeper relationships with each other while collectively pursuing the Lord together. The WKND Away is a retreat built around the idea that no matter what school system, what interest, or where you live, we can be one family. Join us September 29-30 as we retreat to the mountains in Huntsville for a relaxed time away from hectic schedules and demanding lifestyles to focus on what really matters- and life pursuing Jesus!

Friday
6:30 pm - Depart for The WKND Away from FBCD
7:15 pm - Arrive at Retreat Center / Check-in to Rooms
7:45 pm - SESSION ONE
9:00 pm - Bonfire/Late Night Snack
11:00 pm- Lights Out
Saturday
8:30 am - Breakfast
9:30 am - SESSION TWO
10:15 am - Break Out Groups
11:00 am - Chill Time
12:00 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm - Activities
3:00 pm - Pool
5:00 pm - Chill Time
5:30 pm- Dinner
6:30 pm - SESSION THREE
7:45 pm - Depart from Retreat Center
8:20 pm - Arrive at FBC
